The WiFi connection provides a key advantage: with an active internet connection and app login, push notifications are sent directly to the smartphone – enabling an immediate response even when on vacation or away from home. Even without WiFi, it functions like a conventional smoke detector and reliably warns with a clearly perceptible signal. Thanks to the supplied mounting materials (2x screws and plugs), installation is particularly easy: the mounting plate is attached to the ceiling using the screws and plugs, and the smoke alarm is then securely locked into place with a simple twisting motion.
