£189

1 x 75cl. The producer, Bouchard Pere et Fils, has a nine-generation history dating back to 1731. They have gradually accumulated fine parcels of vineyards throughout the Cote d'Or, including their famous monopole Beaune Greve Vigne de l'Enfant, purchased during the French Revolution. Their headquarters, the historic Chateau de Beaune with its deep underground cellars, was bought in 1820. Today, Bouchard Pere et Fils is one of the great houses of Burgundy, with 130ha of vines, 12ha of which are Grand Cru and 74ha Premier Cru in some of the greatest names of the Cote d'Or. Their holdings include vineyards in Beaune, Chambolle, Gevrey, Nuits, Pommard, Volnay, and Vosne for red wines, as well as in Chassagne, Puligny, Corton, and Meursault for white wines. This wine is a Grand Cru, from the Corton Charlemagne region, produced in 2016.
