This full-bodied Riesling Grand Cru has rich and complex flavours of quince, pear, and exotic fruit, with an excellent salty minerality in its long-lasting finish. On the nose, it has aromas of peach, ripe apple, spice, and herbs. The grapes are picked from the oldest vines of the VDP Grosse Lage (Grand Cru) Hundertgulden, a south-west facing slope with calcareous soil, creating precise wines. The wine is made from hand-selected grapes, fermented with wild yeast in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, and matured on lees until bottling. A dry wine with 13.0% alcohol, 4.3g/l residual sugar, and 7.8g/l acidity, available in a 75cl size. Suitable for both men and women.
