This Chardonnay is a trip to the tropics. Grape variety is 100% Chardonnay, from the 2024 harvest. It hails from a single family vineyard named Epreskert near Gyöngyöstarján in Mátra, Hungary. The grapes are organically farmed in volcanic soils, undergo native yeast fermentation, then the wine is aged in tank on the lees. The result is a fresh, yet full-bodied white with bright and textured flavors of ripe tropical fruits and zesty citrus. It's a perfect pairing for cream sauce dishes, sautéed or steamed seafood and roasted poultry.
