I bought this laptop 5 years ago and recently the battery started failing. I took it to a local repair shop, who ordered a replacement battery but discovered the laptop wasnt working after it was fitted. He actually said that 'unfortunately not fixable chipset is dead and cannot be sourced for replacement'. However the laptop works fully when the power cable is plugged in. It gets a bit warm though. If I could have had it fixed I definitely would have. I have done a factory reset on the computer and its good to go. The case is a bit banged, but the internal parts are all good. Spares or repairs.
