A dry, sparkling wine from Limoux in Southern France, with crisp flavours of strawberry and red fruits and a toasty brioche finish. The estate, now run by Albert Doulet's 3 great grandsons, was originated by Albert Doulet, born in 1895 in nearby Carcassonne. Their Cremant Rosé is a blend of two Champagne varieties with Chenin Blanc making up the rest of the blend. This wine has a rich history, as the monks of the Saint-Hilaire abbey in 1531 are said to have created the first ever sparkling wine in the region.
