The diamond set ribbon crossover shoulders lead to an illusion plate and a 7pt round brilliant cut diamond at the centre. The purpose of the illusion plate is to catch the light on its many angled facets, giving the appearance of a larger stone from a distance. At its widest point the ring measures 7.5mm and tapers down at the rear.
