Our 404mm wide 18mm thick box end board is used to cut out the wide section of board found at the bottom of a barge board where it joins the fascia board.Bullnose fascia boards can be fixed directly to the rafter ends without the need for a backing board, it should be fixed using 2 x 65mm polytop nails at each rafter (maximum spacing 600mm).The rear of the board is rebated at the bottom edge to accept a soffit board.
